PH Plate operates entirely on-device. We do not operate servers that receive your personal data. The following data is processed locally:
Used exclusively to identify food items for alkalinity analysis. Images are processed on-device using Core ML and are never transmitted externally.
With your permission, PH Plate reads weight, BMI, and body fat percentage to personalize alkalinity recommendations. Health data is read directly from the Health app and is never uploaded or shared.
Approximate location (country level) is used solely to suggest region-specific food recommendations. Precise location is not accessed. Location data is not stored or transmitted.
Food entries, scan history, and meal plans are stored locally on your device using SwiftData. This data never leaves your device.
We do not sell, trade, or share your personal data with any third party. PH Plate has no analytics SDK, no advertising network, and no backend server that receives personal data.
All app data is stored locally on your iOS device. Data shared with Apple Health remains under Apple's Health app privacy controls. You can delete all app data at any time by removing the app from your device.
PH Plate is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above will reflect any changes. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance.
